Viewing Experience

KHQ Mini Projector:

The viewing experience is a mixed bag. While I enjoyed projecting large images on my wall, with some setups exceeding 110 inches, the resolution left something to be desired. The clarity was lacking, especially when displaying smaller text, leading to odd outlines. It works well for casual viewing, such as watching movies or shows, but trying to read anything displayed from my computer was nearly impossible. The brightness level was also a concern, as darker scenes were hard to see, which was disappointing.

Ohdil Mini Projector:

The projection quality is decent for the price, producing clear images in a dark room. However, the brightness does not compare to more expensive models, making it less effective for outdoor use or in well-lit environments. When projected onto a wall or a screen, the Ohdil Mini Projector can create a large image, with sizes ranging from 37 to 170 inches. While the focus adjustment works well, the overall image sharpness may not meet the expectations of those looking for a premium viewing experience. The built-in audio is functional, though external speakers are recommended for a more immersive experience.

AKIYO Mini Projector:

The viewing experience is quite satisfactory, especially in dimmer environments. The projector delivers a clear 1080P image that looks sharp, making movie nights enjoyable. However, I did notice some light artifacts, which are common in projectors within this price range. The sound quality was surprisingly decent for a built-in speaker, but I would recommend using external Bluetooth speakers for an enhanced audio experience, especially during action-packed films.

System Experience

KHQ Mini Projector:

Setting up the projector was a breeze for me. I was able to quickly connect my devices, including my Amazon Fire Stick and computer, using the included HDMI cables. The remote control made navigation seamless, and the instructions were straightforward, allowing me to get everything running without any hiccups. However, I did encounter a slight challenge when trying to connect my phone; I suspect I might not have followed the instructions accurately, as it requires a specific connector that doesn't come included.

Ohdil Mini Projector:

Setting up the Ohdil Mini Projector was straightforward, though it did require a bit of trial and error to navigate the various settings. The basic instructions provided were not the most detailed, which could lead to some confusion for first-time users. However, for those familiar with projectors, the setup process is relatively easy, especially when using the included remote control for better navigation. The projector offers multiple connectivity options, including HDMI, USB, and wireless screen mirroring, which enhances its versatility.

AKIYO Mini Projector:

Setting up the projector is remarkably straightforward. I found that connecting it to multiple devices, including my iPad, laptop, and smartphone, was a breeze. The HDMI connectivity with my devices worked seamlessly, and screen mirroring from my Android phone was also effective. The KHQ Mini Projector totally surprised me! My daughter sets it up on her desk and it projects onto the wall about 12 feet away. The colors aren’t exactly TV quality, but for the price, it’s awesome! My younger two have sister movie nights with it, and they have a blast. Such a fun way to bond and make memories!

KHQ Mini Projector - the good stuff: clear picture, super compact, easy to set up.

The bad: it’s way too dark (no matter what), the display is all wonky (leans left), and it’s too light, so it moves around a lot. Seriously, it’s way too dark! Night scenes are a total struggle. Major letdown!

I’m loving the Ohdil Mini Projector! I've been moving it around the house to watch stuff in different rooms. I don’t even have a TV, so it’s cool to try out this little guy. The picture quality is great for its size, and it’s super portable.

I got the AKIYO Mini Projector and opened it up to show the kids how it works. Honestly, it was way easier than explaining the TV in the living room!

El proyector AKIYO Mini está chido y es súper práctico. Se ve genial en casa con las luces apagadas, pero no sirve para afuera, no se ve nada. El sonido está bien, como 7/10, pero si quieres buen volumen, mejor conecta unos parlantes.
