Real Steel is a science fiction film produced by dreamworks pictures and distributed by Disney pictures. Produced by Steven Spielberg and directed by Shawn Levy, the film stars Hugh Jackman, Dakota Goyo, Evangeline Lilly and Anthony Mackie.

Real Steel

In the near future, boxing has been replaced by high-tech robots playing with each other. Instead of playing in person, humans are using robots to fight each other on the field.

Hugh Jackman's Charlie loses his title in a 2,000-pound, 6-foot robot boxing match in Real Steel. Charlie was down and out because he lost the game. But before that, Charlie was the world's biggest, no. 2 boxer. Charlie had an 11-year-old boy named Max, and Charlie had never taken care of him while he was busy with boxing. Now, with no title, no reputation, and nothing to lose, Charlie had more time to spend with his son. The undefeated son encouraged Charlie to go to the abandoned robot warehouse to find parts to come back and make his own robot to participate in the competition. Not many parts were found, but they accidentally found a sparring robot.

Real Steel is perfect as a whole, except that the theme is mixed with the father-son relationship, never give up, civilian heroes and so on, which makes the main line fluctuate a little bit, but that doesn't affect the whole thing.
