Unboxing Experience

PONER SAUND Mini Projector:

The Poner Saund Model M8 projector has a robust and attractive design that stands out in any setup. Its slightly larger frame compared to my previous ViewSonic gives it a solid presence, and the build quality feels reliable. I appreciate the inclusion of multiple mounting screw locations, which adds flexibility for installation, though I had to remove rubberized pads to access them. Overall, the projector has a clean aesthetic that fits well in both home and outdoor settings, making it a decent choice for casual movie nights.

Thunrlge Mini Projector:

The mini projector boasts a sleek and compact design that is both lightweight and portable. Its build quality feels solid, and the neat packaging adds to the overall positive first impression. I love how easy it is to carry around, making it an ideal choice for both home use and travel. The projector comes pre-installed with popular streaming apps, making it visually appealing for those who enjoy a modern entertainment setup.

Magcubic Mini Projector:

Upon first glance, the projector appears to be a well-designed device, compact and lightweight, making it convenient for travel or home use. The build quality feels decent for its price range, although it doesn't scream premium. The control layout is straightforward, and the projector's aesthetic fits well in a casual setting, whether mounted on a wall or placed on a table. However, I do wish the power supply had a better placement as it’s positioned close to the arm but does not seem to cause any significant issues.

Viewing Experience

PONER SAUND Mini Projector:

The viewing experience with this projector has been quite enjoyable. The image quality is impressive, especially in darkened rooms where the picture is crisp and vibrant. I was able to utilize the X-Y zoom adjustment effectively to fit a large image onto my 100" screen, though I did notice a decrease in brightness when projecting onto less-than-ideal surfaces like my garage wall. The keystone adjustments are a fantastic feature, allowing me to correct any distortions easily. Overall, the projector delivers a good performance for the price, particularly for casual viewing and family movie nights.

Thunrlge Mini Projector:

The viewing experience with this projector is nothing short of impressive. The 1080P resolution, along with 4K support, delivers sharp and vibrant images that truly enhance movie nights and gaming sessions. The ability to project up to a massive 130 inches creates a home theater atmosphere, while the bright and clear picture quality holds up well even in dimly lit rooms. The 180° rotatable design allows for flexible positioning, and the sound quality, while decent from the built-in speakers, can be easily improved with external Bluetooth speakers.

Magcubic Mini Projector:

The video quality is commendable for the price, producing a large image that fills most of my bedroom wall. However, I did notice some lag when mirroring from my phone, which was frustrating as it sometimes left the audio and video out of sync. While it performs decently in a darkened room, the brightness and sharpness leave a bit to be desired, especially around the edges. I also found that the built-in speaker is serviceable but not particularly loud or full, which detracts from the overall viewing experience unless I connected a Bluetooth speaker for better sound quality.

System Experience

PONER SAUND Mini Projector:

Setting up the Poner Saund Model M8 was straightforward, allowing me to connect my ROKU box via HDMI quickly. However, I found the menu system to be somewhat "clunky," which detracted from the overall user experience. Additionally, the absence of clear documentation regarding mounting dimensions and features was frustrating. Nevertheless, once I figured out how to navigate the settings and adjust the focus and keystone, I was able to achieve a satisfactory setup for both indoor and outdoor use.

Thunrlge Mini Projector:

Setting up the mini projector was incredibly straightforward. In just a few minutes, I was able to plug it in, connect to WiFi, and sync it with Bluetooth devices without any technical headaches. The auto keystone adjustment feature is a game-changer, allowing me to project images at various angles without worrying about alignment. The multiple input options, like HDMI and USB ports, add to its versatility, making it compatible with a wide range of devices.

Magcubic Mini Projector:

Setting up the projector was a breeze, and I appreciated the Android OS onboard, which allows for easy navigation through the menu options. Connecting the device to my Bluetooth speakers was straightforward after a bit of trial and error; initially, I struggled with switching between speakers, but once I figured out the process, it became easy. The keystone correction feature works excellently, allowing me to project at a 25-degree sideways angle without any distortion, and I find that I can achieve a large and clear image even at the lowest setting.

Magcubic Mini Projector:

Pros:
• Excellent video quality for the price.
• Easy to set up and navigate menu.
• Lightweight and portable design.
• Good keystone correction for angled projections.
• Large projection size even at low settings.

Cons:

• Brightness could be improved for better visibility in less-than-dark environments.
• Difficulty navigating streaming apps without a Bluetooth mouse.

Overall Impression:
Overall, I find this projector to be a solid option, especially for the price point. It’s perfect for casual movie nights or for my daughter's occasional use, but it does have its quirks. While it shines in terms of video quality and ease of setup, the sound quality and some app connectivity issues are notable drawbacks. Despite these flaws, I feel that the value for money is considerable, and I would recommend it for anyone looking for a budget-friendly projector that performs well in a dark room.

The PONER SAUND Mini Projector is super easy to use and connects fast. The picture looks great once you focus the lens, especially in a dark room—just like most projectors. The sound is a bit soft, but when I hook it up to my boom box, it gets pretty loud. Not too shabby for the price!

PONER SAUND Mini Proyector: Solo escuchas lo que dicen, es complicado conectarlo al celular y a veces se desconecta solo. Además, no amplía la imagen.

Thunrlge Mini Projector is super easy to hook up to Roku! The picture looks great, and it’s a little quiet, but it works for me. Background noise isn’t too bad either. Overall, I think it’s a good buy. Just wish the mount had more space for wires, but I can fix that since I’m a woodworker. A quick trip to the shop, and I’ll be all set!

Got the Thunrlge Mini Projector for our vacation to binge-watch Netflix and YouTube. The picture quality is solid for the price, but the sound could be a bit louder.

The Thunrlge Mini Projector is super awesome and super easy to use! It's small and light, so you can bring it wherever you go. The picture is awesome, especially in the dark, and it connects with all sorts of devices. The sound's pretty good, but if you hook it up to some speakers, it’s even better. Perfect for movie nights or sharing videos!

The Magcubic Mini Projector is a steal for the price! It works pretty well indoors with most lights, but natural light is a no-go. The speaker's decent—not amazing, but gets the job done and connects easily to Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. I got it for a glamping trip, and it’s been awesome so far. I’ll keep using it at home and see how long it lasts!

Magcubic Mini Projector is decent for the price, but it’s not 4K—just 1080p. It’s pretty dim, so you can only use it in a dark room. Honestly, my phone sounds better!
