Viewing Experience

KHQ Mini Projector:

The viewing experience is somewhat mixed. While I was able to enjoy a large screen that filled up my wall—over 110 inches diagonally at a throw distance of 9-10 feet—there were notable downsides. The resolution, around 320x180, resulted in fuzzy outlines, especially with smaller text. It worked well for casual viewing of shows but struggled with clarity for detailed visuals, particularly when displaying my 1600x900 computer screen. On the flip side, watching movies in a dark setting felt immersive, akin to being in a mini-theater, and using it for painting projects provided a functional use.

AKIYO Mini Projector:

The viewing experience is generally positive, especially in dimmer environments. The image clarity is impressive for a projector in this price range, delivering a sharp 1080P output. I noticed some light artifacts typical of budget projectors, but it didn't significantly detract from my overall experience. Screen mirroring worked well with both Android and iOS devices, though the projector was a bit picky about the video file types it would play. While the built-in speakers are not powerful, connecting to a Bluetooth speaker greatly enhances the audio experience.

BIGASUO Mini Projector:

The viewing experience is certainly dependent on lighting conditions. While the picture quality shines in dark environments, it can struggle in well-lit rooms, leading to washed-out images. At night, the clarity and brightness are commendable, providing a fun outdoor cinema feel. I did notice some fuzziness during fast scenes and had to adjust settings for different video sources, which was a bit of a nuisance. The internal speaker is decent for indoor use, but for outdoor movie nights, using an external speaker is essential for an immersive experience.

System Experience

KHQ Mini Projector:

Setting up this projector was a breeze. I was able to connect my Amazon Fire Stick effortlessly, and the remote made it incredibly easy to navigate through the options. The package was secure upon arrival, and everything needed for setup was included. However, I did encounter some challenges trying to display my phone screen, which might have been due to my unfamiliarity with the instructions. Nonetheless, I was able to project content from my computer with minimal hassle, and the quick focus settings helped address initial blurriness when projecting close up.

AKIYO Mini Projector:

The setup process for this projector is straightforward, allowing users to connect their devices with minimal hassle. I found that the projector works seamlessly with HDMI connections, and I could easily mirror my iPad and connect my phone via Bluetooth. While I didn't need to consult the manual, I appreciated having it handy for reference. However, I did face some challenges with external drives initially, but after formatting them to FAT32, I was able to resolve the USB reading issues.

BIGASUO Mini Projector:

Setting up the projector was a breeze; it took only minutes to get it operational, even for someone who is not tech-savvy. The inclusion of an AC adapter was a little misleading, as I expected a rechargeable unit, but it’s easy to power with a deep cycle battery for outdoor use. The various input options are impressive, eliminating the hassle of fumbling with connectors. The remote control and stand were easy to use, making adjustments straightforward. However, I did encounter some frustrations with the menu navigation and button responsiveness during setup.

If you're looking for something to use primarily in dark settings and don't mind a bit of graininess, this projector is certainly a solid choice. Just be aware of its limitations, and you’ll find it can enhance your viewing experiences immensely.

The strengths lie in its ease of setup, portability, and decent image quality when conditions are right. However, the sound quality and brightness in daylight could use improvement. While it may not rival high-end projectors, it offers great value for its price point, making it a worthwhile purchase for those looking for an affordable and functional projector.

El proyector AKIYO Mini está chido, es super práctico. Se ve genial en la oscuridad, pero no te va a servir afuera, no se ve nada. El sonido está bien, como un 7 de 10, pero si quieres buen volumen, mejor conecta un altavoz extra.

The AKIYO Mini Projector is super compact and has awesome picture quality. I was shocked at how good the sound is too, but I'll still use my Bluetooth speakers for movies. Oh, and it even comes with its own tripod, which is pretty cool!

The BIGASUO Mini Projector is awesome! Picture quality is on point. Just a heads up, grab some speakers too for better sound outside. Super happy with my buy – it came well packed and even has a soft case!

The BIGASUO Mini Projector is awesome, but man, it's super quiet! Even when you connect it to a Bluetooth speaker, it's still barely audible.

BIGASUO Mini Projector is awesome for visuals, but the sound is weak. I've tried everything—speakers, earbuds, the projector's own sound—and it's still super quiet. Not sure if mine's broken or if I'm doing something wrong. But the picture quality is on point!

BIGASUO Mini Projector is pretty cool, but it doesn't let you stream from your iPhone via Bluetooth—only for sound. It'd be nice if it could connect to a speaker for some extra volume!
