I'm considering the In Focus High Definition 720p DLP projector (IN146) and would love some input from those who have experience with it. I’m particularly interested in how the picture quality holds up—does the 720p resolution deliver a sharp enough image for watching movies and gaming? And what about the brightness at 2700 ANSI lumens—is it bright enough for daytime use, or is it more suited for darker rooms?

Sound quality is another concern; does it have decent built-in speakers, or would I need to invest in an external sound system?

Also, I’m curious about the system overall—how easy is it to set up and connect to various devices? Are there any potential downsides I should be aware of, especially regarding longevity or maintenance?

Any insights would be greatly appreciated!

I just picked up this projector for my home, and let me tell you, it’s awesome! The picture quality is solid in HD, and the best part? You don’t have to watch it in a pitch-black room. It works great even with some light on. Just a heads up, it’s a short throw projector, so if you set it up about 1.6 meters from the wall, you’ll get this massive image—like around 3 meters wide! Seriously, it’s incredible! Perfect for TV, movies, and gaming nights!

Man, the IN146 projector has been a total game-changer for me! The picture quality is absolutely top-notch and super bright too. I just caught a football game in the middle of the day with the windows wide open, and it looked amazing! Plus, the short-throw feature really helps with the brightness and cuts down on those annoying shadows when people are moving around or playing Wii. Seriously, I can’t recommend it enough!
