I'm considering the Epson PowerLite 1264 LCD Projector for my home setup and would love some insights. The specs mention it has 3000 lumens, which sounds promising for picture quality, especially in brighter rooms. How does the image hold up in terms of sharpness and color accuracy?

I'm also curious about the sound quality. Does it have built-in speakers that are decent enough for casual viewing, or would I be better off investing in a sound system?

Lastly, what are the potential downsides of this model? Any quirks or limitations I should be aware of before making a purchase? Your experiences and advice would be super helpful! Thanks!

This thing is awesome! It's got built-in speakers, so it’s perfect for smaller get-togethers – like around 25 people or so. I hooked it up to my MacBook Air using the Thunderbolt connection. Just a heads up, I had to grab a couple of HDMI cables to make it work, but honestly, it was totally worth it. The sound from the Epson is just right for playing the music in a movie I made. Really great value for what you get!
