The 3800 is marketed as a 4K projector, but it's technically not a 4K projector. The pixel shifting makes it a 1920 x 1080 x 2 resolution.

Since my 3800 is hooked to a computer, should I set the resolution of the computer to 1440p instead of 4K? It would put less strain on the cpu, but would I loose some picture quality?
