I can’t rave enough about the TMY Ultra Mini Projector! It's my go-to for affordable projectors. This little guy is totally worth it. Unlike other battery-powered ones, it actually lasts three hours and the picture quality is pretty clear for a short throw projector. The speaker isn’t super loud, but it connects easily to Bluetooth, like my AirPods. Had a bit of trouble with a cheap Walmart speaker, but that's probably the speaker's fault.

The screen mirroring is awesome too! We watched YouTube while camping and shared photos easily. Just a heads-up, you can't access apps like Netflix or Hulu directly because of copyright stuff. You’ll need a streaming device like Apple TV or Amazon Fire Stick, which you can power through the projector’s USB slot. Just keep in mind, using your phone as a hotspot will drain the projector’s battery faster. Also, the HDMI and USB ports are on the back, so if you want to project on the ceiling, just stack some books to make it work!

So, I just checked out the AKASO WT50 Mini Projector, and I'm still figuring out how to rate it.

First off, it’s a surprisingly strong little guy with decent brightness and contrast, especially for its size. I was using a cheap $100 projector before that wasn’t too bad, but I wanted an upgrade.

The picture is 1080p, but honestly, it looks a bit lower quality than my old LCD projector. You can see the pixels pretty clearly, and my old projector, despite being bigger, has a brighter and sharper image, though it’s not as vibrant.

I really like the automatic keystone correction feature, but it doesn’t work with HDMI, which is a bummer. Plus, the Android system is outdated, so many apps don’t run well unless I use a Chromecast. The remote is kind of a pain too; you have to press hard for it to work, and it doesn’t turn on the HDMI input by default, so I need to grab the remote every time.

Overall, it's a solid projector, but since it doesn't quite meet my needs compared to my old one, I'm sending it back. If it had been at least as good as my old one and portable, I would’ve kept it. So, I’m giving it a three-star rating.

Just a quick note: I get why they went with Android for familiarity, but it kinda limits what you can do. I would’ve preferred a built-in Chromecast instead. So yeah, three stars seems fair.
