First Impressions

The XGIMI Elfin has a compact design and weighs only 2.2 pounds, but it doesnt have an integrated battery, so you still need to plug it into an outlet. It has full Auto Keystone correction and autofocus, so its easy to set up. The projector has two integrated speakers, so you won't need to worry about connecting it to a soundbar or audio system when bringing it with you.
This 1080p DLP projector uses an LED bulb as its light source, and it is rated for up to 25,000 hours by the manufacturer, so you likely wont ever have to worry about replacing it. As its a 1080p projector, it's limited to a 1080p @ 60Hz resolution.

Viewing Experience
The XGIMI Elfin is a projector that performs best in darker environments, as it has a dim brightness level that requires lights to be turned off for optimal viewing. It features excellent brightness uniformity, ensuring consistent brightness across the screen. While the contrast ratio is acceptable, it struggles in dark settings where blacks appear elevated. The projector boasts a wide color gamut, covering nearly all of the Rec. 709 color space for SDR content, although it exhibits inaccuracies in blues and pinks. It also handles the broader Rec. 2020 color space reasonably well. Overall, the XGIMI Elfin delivers a decent performance, particularly in controlled lighting conditions, but has limitations in contrast and color accuracy.

System Experience
Overall Impression: This projector offers a user-friendly experience with its Android TV smart OS and full casting support, allowing for easy screen sharing from mobile devices. However, the inability to access Netflix may limit its appeal for those seeking comprehensive streaming options. The inclusion of two built-in 3W Harman Kardon speakers enhances audio quality, while Bluetooth 5.0/BLE support adds versatility for connecting external devices. Overall, it is a capable projector with useful features, but the absence of Netflix could be a significant drawback for some users.
