Microsoft's 343 Studios has confirmed that online services for many older Halo games will cease in January 2022.
Officials previously announced that the online service for the Xbox 360 version of the Halo games would shut down in December 2021, but the latest date has been pushed back to January 13, 2022. The games that will be affected include Halo: To the Stars, Halo 3, Halo 3: Paratroopers of Hell, Halo 4, Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary Edition, Halo: Spartan Assault, and Halo Wars.
