Sony announced that the new generation of Play Station Plus video game subscription service will be released worldwide from the end of May this year. Sony's next-generation PlayStation Plus is scheduled to be released on May 23 in Asian markets except for Japan.
Sony plans to release the new generation of PlayStation Plus on May 23 in Asian markets, except Japan, and on June 1 in Japan, followed by the U.S. and Europe on June 13 and June 22, respectively.
In March this year, Sony first announced the launch of a new generation of PlayStation Plus services. The premium version of Play Station Plus supports downloading more game content.
It can also run classic games from the first generation Play Station, PS2, PS3 and PSP. If you want to experience Sony's retro games, you'll need to get your hands on Play Station Plus.
When the news was first announced, Sony said it would launch the new service first in Asia "in June" and later in "North America, Europe and the rest of the world.
The new service will be available in "North America, Europe and the rest of the world".
