What games can I play on Steam Deck?

Steam Deck supports the Steam Store page, but not all games run smoothly. Valve has introduced a verification system that allows games that are "Steam Deck Verified" to run seamlessly on the new handheld PC. Of course, there are some games that are not fully compatible but can still be played on Steam Deck, and these games are labeled as "Steam Deck Playable".

For Steam Deck to be an ultimate success, it has to do a good job of game compatibility, and right now it looks like Valve is doing a good job of that.

Of the top 100 Steam hits, 28 have been verified by Steam Deck, including popular games like Elden Ring, and Apex legends. And 26 of the top 100 popular games have been verified as playable, including Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, Dota 2, and Skyrim.

As a result, 54 of Steams' top 100 popular games already support Steam Deck.

The rest of the games in the top 100 fall into the unsupported or untested category. 26 of the top 100 games on Steam are listed as unsupported, primarily due to anti-cheat software, and it is likely that without significant incentives, most developers will not be able to devote the resources to make this work and these games will likely remain unsupported.
