Viewing Experience
The viewing experience with the ViewSonic X2000B is nothing short of exceptional. The brightness is remarkable, easily cutting through ambient light, and the colors are crisp and vibrant, making content pop on my black wall. I was particularly impressed with its performance while gaming on my PS5, where Madden and NBA 2K ran smoothly at 4K 60Hz. However, I did notice some input lag at 4K/60, which teetered on the edge of being manageable. Switching to 1080p/120Hz made a significant difference, providing a more responsive gaming experience without sacrificing much in terms of image quality.

• Bright and vibrant color quality
• Impressive short throw capabilities
• Good sound quality from built-in speakers
• Excellent brightness even in ambient light

• Remote control issues
• Underwhelming smart features
• High-pitched whine during operation
• Glitchy startup when connected to a computer

System Experience
Setting up the ViewSonic X2000B was a breeze. I was able to adjust the height, distance, and focus quickly, allowing me to enjoy my favorite content without a lengthy installation process. Although I initially encountered some issues with the remote not functioning as expected, the basic setup and physical connectivity through its two HDMI ports were straightforward. The projector's smart TV features left me somewhat underwhelmed, running only in 2K/60 mode, but I found that connecting my HTPC and other systems was simple and effective.

User Feedback

Overall Impression:
Overall, I am thoroughly impressed with the ViewSonic X2000B. It delivers outstanding picture quality, especially considering its price point, and I appreciate the flexibility it offers in terms of placement and screen size. The brightness and clarity of the image, even on a plain white wall, are commendable, making it a worthy upgrade from my previous projector. Although I encountered some minor annoyances, such as the remote and a constant whine, these do not overshadow the fantastic value and performance the projector offers. I look forward to enjoying many more movie nights and gaming sessions with this remarkable unit.

Totally worth the cash! The picture quality is awesome. If you don’t have an external sound system, the built-in speakers do a decent job. It works like a charm, no issues at all. I'm really happy with this buy—it's a great piece of gear!
