First Impressions

Upon receiving the projector, I was pleased to see that it arrived in good condition and matched the specifications I had ordered. Its design is sleek and professional, making it suitable for both educational settings and home use. I appreciated the good price point, which added to my overall positive impression. However, my experience was slightly marred by the shipping delay, which left me feeling uncertain about the seller's communication and reliability.

Viewing Experience
The viewing experience with this projector has been satisfactory overall. It delivers good image quality, making it suitable for presentations and educational purposes. I’ve used it in a school setting, and it has performed well, meeting my expectations for brightness and clarity. Despite the minor hiccup with the PJLink implementation, the projector functions effectively for our needs.

System Experience
Setting up the projector was relatively straightforward, and I was able to get it up and running without too much hassle. However, I did encounter some issues with the PJLink implementation. The responses from the projector come back in lowercase, which is not standard and can lead to compatibility problems with some PJLink controllers. I found myself needing to submit patches to the open-source controllers to address this issue, which was a bit frustrating, especially since not all patches were accepted.

User Feedback

Pros:
• Good price point
• Arrived in good condition
• Satisfactory image quality for presentations
• Suitable for educational settings

Cons:
• Shipping delay and vague communication from the seller
• PJLink implementation issues with lowercase responses
• Previous model had a shorter lifespan with a fan motor issue

Overall Impression:
In summary, while the projector has delivered good performance and value for the money, there are some areas that could be improved, particularly in terms of communication from the supplier and the PJLink compatibility. Despite these drawbacks, it has served our school well and, with some adjustments, can continue to be a reliable tool for presentations.

This projector is awesome, but I've got one hiccup: the PJlink thing doesn't follow the standard. It replies in all lowercase, which some controllers can't handle. I've sent fixes to a few open-source controllers, but not everyone has picked them up yet.

The projector showed up in great condition and exactly what I ordered, plus it was a good deal. My only gripe is that it didn’t ship until almost a week after the expected date, and the seller was kinda sketchy when I asked why. It took me two tries to get a reply with the tracking info.
