Which to get

Looking to make a decision between these two TVs and could really use your input!

ViewSonic N1930w HDTV: This little 19-inch beauty offers 720p HD viewing and can double as a PC monitor, which is super handy. The ClearPicture tech sounds promising for vibrant images, and with a high brightness of 300 nits and a 4000:1 contrast ratio, I’m hoping for some great picture quality. However, it’s still just 19 inches, so I’m concerned it might feel a bit cramped for TV shows or gaming.

ATNCKS 324250 Curved TV: I’m intrigued by the curved design here, which I’ve heard can enhance the viewing experience by providing a more immersive feel. However, I need to know more about the picture and sound quality. Is it as good as the ViewSonic? And what about the system? I tend to lean towards smart features, so I hope it has some solid streaming options.

What do you think? Any potential downsides on either side I should be aware of? Would love to hear your thoughts!

So, I got my hands on the ViewSonic N1930w HDTV, and honestly, it was a bit of a letdown. The sound quality was pretty terrible, and it wouldn't pick up any QAM channels. Plus, the picture quality was just flat and I couldn't really tweak it much. I ended up sending it back to Amazon, which, as usual, was super easy. On a brighter note, I do have a ViewSonic 22-inch monitor that I love – it works like a champ! I decided to swap the TV for a Samsung ln19a330, and wow, what a difference! Way better experience!

The ViewSonic N1930W HDTV? Ugh, what a disaster! It takes ages to turn on, like you’re waiting for a slow cooker to finish. And if you think you can just flip through channels, think again—it’s like watching molasses pour! Seriously, how is this thing even from 2008?

And let’s not even get started on the sound. It’s super weak, like a whisper in a loud room.

Honestly, it feels like they cut every corner possible on this one. I’d give it away, but I don’t want to do that to anyone I know!

So, I got my hands on the ViewSonic N1930w HDTV, and honestly, it's awesome! But let me tell you, dealing with J&R Audio and Amazon was a total nightmare. Like, I’d give them both a big fat F for this sale. It was just the worst!
