Which to get

Looking to upgrade my projector game and could use some help deciding between two options I've found.

First up is the ViewSonic LS740HD Laser Projector. This bad boy boasts 5000 Lumens, which sounds like it should deliver some serious brightness and clarity with its 1080p resolution. The long lamp life of 30,000 hours is a huge plus, meaning I won't have to swap out bulbs anytime soon. Plus, the setup seems pretty straightforward with its optical zoom and keystone adjustments.

On the flip side, there's the Acer Ul5630 Projector. Unfortunately, I couldn't find much info on it, aside from its model number, so I’m a bit in the dark here.

When it comes to picture quality, sound quality, and overall system performance, does anyone have insights on these two? What about any potential downsides? Would love to hear your experiences before I make a decision!

We just got a new ViewSonic LS740HD Laser Projector for the church, and I gotta say, it's a game changer! Our old projector kicked the bucket, but this one is just awesome. The picture is super bright and crystal clear, and the price? Totally worth it!

So I got my hands on the ViewSonic LS740HD Laser Projector, and let me tell you, it looks fantastic! But here’s the kicker—I started noticing this weird orange glitch popping up out of nowhere. At that price, I was like, “Nah, I can’t deal with that.” So, I ended up sending it back and picked up something else instead. Just wasn’t worth the hassle!

So, I recently got my hands on the ViewSonic LS740HD Laser Projector, and let me tell you, it's been a game changer for my slides – not so much for movie nights, though. I ditched my old projector because it just couldn’t handle the brightness in a big classroom setting, but this one? Wow, it really delivers, especially for the price!

It's super bright and almost silent, which is a huge plus when you're trying to keep everyone focused. Plus, there's no annoying warmup time like with those old-school bulb projectors. Seriously, it barely gets warm at all!

Now, it doesn’t have auto-focus, but adjusting the focus is a breeze, and the zoom is pretty impressive too. You can set it up however you want – front or rear, table or ceiling – it’s got you covered. Overall, I’m really happy with it!

I just got myself the ViewSonic LS740HD Laser Projector, and let me tell you, it's a game changer! I originally picked it up for my golf simulator, and it looks awesome whether the lights are on or off. But it really shines when I’m kicking back to watch movies or catch a game—turning the lights off makes everything pop! Seriously, the picture quality is just fantastic. Can't recommend it enough!
