TV Eye Protection Mode

The eye protection mode of most TVs is to block blue light. Blue light with wavelengths of 400-460 nanometers is indeed harmful to the eyes.

However, the intensity of blue light generated by LCD TVs is not so high, and it does not reach the level of harm to human eyes.

Moreover, the short-wave blue light will attenuate sharply with the increase of propagation distance.

If you watch TV at a viewing distance of two or three meters, then you don't have to worry about blue light hurting your eyes.

How to protect your eyes while watching TV?

First, ensure a suitable viewing distance, not too close.

Second, ensure appropriate viewing time, do not watch TV for a long time, and pay attention to rest.

Third, don't watch TV in a dark environment, make sure there is enough ambient light.
