The Witcher 3 and Cyberpunk 2077 next-gen updates coming in 2022

The next-generation version of Cyberpunk 2077 will be released in the first quarter of 2022, and The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt's next-generation version will be released in the second quarter of 2022.

The next-generation versions of both games are available for PC and console platforms.

The next-gen version of Cyberpunk 2077 promises ray tracing and faster load times for Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5 players.

The next-gen version of The Witcher 3 will offer faster load times, support for ray tracing and visual effects improvements. In addition, word is that The Witcher 3 next-gen will use a number of PC Mods to improve the game's textures, including the popular Halk Hogan's HD conversion project.

CD PROJEKT RED has previously promised that players who have purchased The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will receive a free next-gen upgrade, and the same is expected for Cyberpunk 2077.
