TCL has announced its 2022 LCD TV C-Series, the TCL C935, C835, C735 and C635. Their features are including miniLED zone dimming, Google TV, HDMI 2.1 and 144 Hz panels, with models ranging from 43' to 98-inch 4K TVs. The new C935 Series and C835 Series Mini LED models now offer better visuals, TCL says, with high contrast, less halo, high brightness and better uniformity for the user experience. The flagship model will also feature a 2.1.2 channel Onkyo speaker system. Two upward-firing speakers are installed to provide Dolby Atmos sound.
The C835 has a less advanced miniLED zone dimming backlight behind the LCD panel. The number of dimming zones is not disclosed. It has HDMI 2.1, including 4K120, VRR and ALLM.
The more affordable C735 and C635 LCD series no longer feature miniLED backlighting. The C735 has HDMI 2.1, including VRR (up to 144Hz) and ALLM( see TCL C735 Review), while the C635 is a series of more basic 60Hz LCD TVs.

TCL's C935 comes with HDMI 2.1 port and features such as 4K/120 support, VRR and ALLM for gaming. The C935 will be one of the first TCL PC gaming models with a 144Hz panel along with the C735 (55-75'") and C835 series. The TV's HDMI 2.1 port supports 4K 144Hz VRR input.

All of TCL's 2022 C-Series models feature Google TV, which provides access to streaming apps and games from the Google Play store. All Google TVs come with Chromecast, Google Assistant, Google Stadia and other smart features built-in.
