Which to get

Looking to upgrade my TV and I'm torn between the Sony RAVIA XR Z9K and the Samsung QN75QN800DFXZA. Both seem like solid choices, but I need some help deciding!

First off, picture quality is super important to me. The Sony boasts a Cognitive Processor XR that promises incredible contrast, deep blacks, and natural colors. On the flip side, Samsung's got that Neo Quantum HDR 8K+ and claims to deliver a really realistic picture with AI upscaling. Does anyone have experience with either? How do they stack up in real-world scenarios?

Sound quality is another area I care about. I noticed the Samsung mentions a pretty high 48Gbps data rate which sounds promising for audio, but does the Sony hold its own in that department as well?

As for the system and user experience, I like that the Sony has a dedicated Game Menu for easy settings management, which is a huge plus for gamers like me. But what about Samsung's smart features? Are they user-friendly and intuitive?

Lastly, are there any potential downsides to consider with either model? I want to make sure I’m making the best choice without any nasty surprises down the line.

Thanks in advance for your insights!

Yo, I just gotta share my experience with the Sony RAVIA XR Z9K TV. I snagged the 85-inch beast from this well-known electronics store, and let me tell you, it’s been a game-changer!

I’ve had it for two months now, and honestly, the screen is hands down the best I’ve ever laid my eyes on.

Fast forward to February 28, 2024—I picked it up back in May 2023, and it’s still absolutely amazing, not a single problem!

I’m totally in love with it!
