System Experience

Parameter
SAMSUNG QN85B TV
Hisense U8 Series TV
System ExperienceSetting up the Samsung QN85B was a breeze, and I truly appreciated how straightforward everything was. I hung it on the wall in my spare bedroom, where space was limited, so I didn't mind that it wasn't perfectly flat. The TV arrived on time and in pristine condition, which eased my worries about ordering something so expensive online. It felt great to have everything go smoothly, especially since I had read about potential delivery nightmares.Setting up the Hisense U8 Series TV was mostly straightforward, but I did encounter some hiccups along the way. The initial setup felt a bit overwhelming with all the Google integration, and I spent a fair amount of time navigating through the settings. I definitely appreciated the clear on-screen instructions, but it took longer than I'd hoped. If you're not tech-savvy, you might find it a bit daunting. Once I got past that, though, everything fell into place nicely. I did find the physical setup of the stand to be a challenge; I could have used an extra pair of hands for that because this thing is pretty heavy!

Viewing Experience

Parameter
SAMSUNG QN85B TV
Hisense U8 Series TV
Viewing ExperienceThe picture quality on this TV is simply stunning. The colors are incredibly vibrant and lifelike, making everything from movies to video games pop with clarity. I find myself getting lost in the visuals, especially when watching my favorite shows or playing on my PS5. It upscales content beautifully too; old DVDs look like they’ve been remastered. I can't help but be impressed every time I turn it on—it's genuinely a feast for the eyes.Wow, the picture quality! I was genuinely shocked at how vibrant and crisp the images look on this TV. The colors just pop, and the blacks are deep, which really enhances the overall viewing experience. It's like having a mini home theater right in my living room. I did play around with some picture settings to get it just right, and filmmaker mode became my go-to. The adjustments made a noticeable difference, turning an already excellent picture into something truly spectacular. I do want to mention that during bright daylight scenes, it can be a bit overwhelming, but I’ve found that adjusting the brightness settings helps to balance that out.

Audio Experience

Parameter
SAMSUNG QN85B TV
Hisense U8 Series TV
Audio ExperienceI have to say, I was pleasantly surprised by the sound quality. It’s often overlooked in TV reviews, but the built-in speakers on the QN85B deliver impressive audio. The bass is solid, and the sound fills the room nicely, which makes for an immersive experience. I sometimes consider pairing it with a soundbar, but honestly, it sounds great on its own, and that’s a major plus in my book. The sound quality pleasantly surprised me, especially for built-in speakers. I expected to rely on my soundbar, but honestly, the U8 Series speakers deliver decent sound with enough bass to make watching movies enjoyable. Of course, if you want that full cinematic experience, I'd still recommend a sound system, but for everyday viewing, it's more than adequate. I did notice some inconsistencies in volume levels between different apps, which was a bit annoying, but nothing I couldn't manage.

Other Experience

Parameter
SAMSUNG QN85B TV
Hisense U8 Series TV
Other ExperienceWhile most of my experience has been positive, there have been a few annoyances. For instance, I’ve encountered issues with audio syncing at times, which is quite frustrating during intense scenes. Additionally, the remote design leaves much to be desired. It’s overly simplified and lacks a backlight, making it challenging to navigate in dim lighting. I’ve had a few moments where I accidentally hit the wrong button, which derailed my viewing experience.Using the Google interface has been a mixed bag for me. While I find it generally easy to navigate and appreciate the variety of entertainment apps available, there have been times when it feels a bit sluggish. I also had some issues with Wi-Fi connectivity, which has been frustrating, as I prefer a stable connection for streaming. Thankfully, I could connect via Ethernet, and that resolved most of my streaming issues. Despite these minor annoyances, I’ve enjoyed my overall experience with the TV, especially when watching high-definition content.

Our Verdict

SAMSUNG QN85B TV:

Pros:
The standout features for me have to be the incredible brightness and color vibrancy. The gaming performance is fantastic, and it automatically switches inputs when I turn on my console, making it hassle-free. Plus, the fact that it upscales older content so well is a major win. All these factors combined make it a great choice for someone like me who loves both movies and gaming.

Cons:
However, the few cons really stand out too. The remote is cumbersome, and the audio syncing issues can be quite annoying. I also wish the interface was snappier; it sometimes feels sluggish when navigating through apps. Despite these issues, I find myself enjoying the TV enough that I can overlook them, but they do detract from the overall experience.

Overall Evaluation:
Overall, I’m really happy with my purchase of the Samsung QN85B. The picture quality alone makes it worth every penny, and while there are some quirks that need addressing, the positives far outweigh the negatives. If you're someone who values stunning visuals and good sound quality, I’d recommend this TV without hesitation. It’s a solid investment for anyone looking to enhance their home entertainment setup!

Hisense U8 Series TV:

Pros:
This TV has so many positives! The picture quality is stunning, with vibrant colors and excellent brightness that truly enhances viewing experiences. The sound quality is surprisingly good for built-in speakers. I also love the range of customizable settings available, making it easy to tweak to my liking. Plus, the price point for what you’re getting is outstanding—definitely feels like I got more than my money’s worth.

Cons:
On the downside, the initial setup process could be daunting for those not tech-savvy, and the interface can feel a bit laggy at times. I also found the built-in Wi-Fi a bit flaky, which led me to connect via Ethernet for a more stable connection. Lastly, while the sound is good, it’s not quite on par with a dedicated sound system, and the volume inconsistency across different apps can be a bit annoying.

Overall Evaluation:
In summary, I’m incredibly pleased with my purchase of the Hisense U8 Series TV. Despite a few setup challenges and minor interface hiccups, the overall picture and sound quality have exceeded my expectations. I feel like I have a premium viewing experience at a fraction of the cost of other brands. It's a beautiful addition to my living room, and I can’t wait to dive into more movies and shows with this setup. For anyone looking for a stunning TV without breaking the bank, I wholeheartedly recommend this one!

So, let me tell you about the Hisense U8 Series TV. This thing is a total game-changer! It's super big, looks amazing, and setting it up was a breeze. Seriously, the on-screen instructions made it so easy. We've been rocking it for a few months now, and everything's been smooth sailing—no hiccups at all!

There are tons of features to explore, so I’d suggest checking out some online reviews to see how to really make it your own. The best part? We were able to use our old wall mount, so we didn’t have to shell out extra cash for that. We’re using it for both gaming and binge-watching our favorite shows, and it’s got all the apps you could want—Hulu, Tubi, you name it.

Honestly, we’ve never had a Hisense TV before, but after this experience, we’re definitely getting another one next time. I totally recommend it!

So, I just got this Hisense U8 Series TV, and honestly, the upscaling is a disaster. Some of the over-the-air signals look super grainy, and the picture just feels flat compared to other brands. Plus, the interface? Total mess – it's like trying to decode a secret language.

Funny enough, my son’s Hisense TV from two years ago looks way clearer and has awesome depth. And get this – it cost half the price of my U8 Series 65U8N!

If this TV were only $400, I might’ve given it a chance, but nah, it’s getting sent back.

And here’s the kicker: I’ve owned a bunch of TVs in my life, and Hisense is leaving me with some serious doubts about their quality and reliability. Their warranty is wild too – they might send a repair guy to your house, but it’s totally up to them. If they decide you gotta ship it back on your own dime? Good luck!

Here’s their warranty pitch:

“ON-SITE SERVICE: Some products might qualify for on-site service, but it's totally up to Hisense. You gotta call or email them first to troubleshoot. They’ll decide if your TV needs a tech to come out or if you need to send it in. And if you live more than 50 miles from their service center? Forget about it – you’re shipping it back. If you do need to send it, make sure you have the original packaging because it’s on you to get it there safely. If they can’t send someone out, you’re packing it up and shipping it to their warehouse. Just a heads up, they won’t move your TV for you either. Some repairs might even need to be done off-site, so yeah, it could end up on a truck back to them. And guess what? If they have to replace the panel, it’s going back to their warehouse too. Once they fix it, they’ll send it back to you.”

Oh, and check this out from Hisense:

"Non-active pixels? Yeah, sometimes you might see a few little dots on the screen. They say it won’t mess with your TV’s performance, but it’s not exactly a defect either."

At the end of the day, it’s your cash, so spend it how you want!

Alright, let’s talk about the Samsung QN85B TV! I’ve been a die-hard Samsung fan for as long as I can remember, and this is my second brand-new Samsung TV in just two years. Honestly, I was a bit nervous because my first one, a 55" QLED, didn’t even last a year before it started acting up—totally out of the blue! I’ve never had issues with Samsung before, so I was a little hesitant when I went for the 60" NEO QLED SMART TV last December. But wow, let me tell you, it’s been a game changer!

This Neo Technology is like night and day compared to the regular QLEDs. If you’ve been using an old HD TV that you snagged for a couple hundred bucks, you’re in for a serious treat with this one. The picture quality? It's as close to OLED as you can get! The colors are super bright, vibrant, and just pop right off the screen. And the blacks? They’re pitch black—no pixelation at all!

This TV comes packed with cool features like ambient lighting, tons of apps, and you can even choose your voice assistant—Alexa or Google Assistant. Plus, it still has Samsung TV Plus for free with loads of channels, and you can customize a screensaver with any picture you like. Some folks aren’t fans of the new interface, but I find it really simple and easy to navigate.

The remote is sleek like the last one but a bit longer. Fair warning though—it’s super easy to misplace, haha! If you’re used to a traditional remote with all the number buttons, you might need a moment to adjust since this one doesn’t have any. But if you’re trying to get to a specific channel, just use the voice assistant—it’s a breeze! And get this—the remote doesn’t need batteries! It charges with solar power when it’s flipped upside down. How awesome is that? No more worrying about dead batteries! 👍

Now, if you’re a gamer, you’re gonna love this TV. The gaming experience is amazing, and it even has built-in surround sound. The best part? When you turn on your game console, the TV automatically switches to that input.

The only downside I’ve found is the TV stand—it’s super heavy and a bit of a hassle to set up. I’d much rather have the legs like the previous models. I ended up mounting mine on the wall, which solved that problem.

Overall, this is hands down the best Samsung TV I’ve ever owned, and I’m just blown away by the picture quality. If you’re like me and want to binge your favorite shows and movies in the best possible quality, I can’t recommend this TV enough! You won't regret it! Enjoy 😊

So, I’ve got this Samsung QN85B TV, right? I’ve had it for a year and a half, and out of nowhere, it just starts going haywire—turning on and off like it’s got a mind of its own. Super frustrating! And just my luck, the warranty is only a year. I reached out to Amazon and Samsung, but they were totally unhelpful. Samsung even wanted to charge me half of what I paid for the TV just to send someone to check it out!

Honestly, I've never had a TV quit on me this quickly, and I’ve always been a big Samsung fan. But after this experience, I’m definitely thinking twice about buying another Samsung TV. What a bummer!

SAMSUNG QN85B TV – finally, I’ve hit the jackpot! After what feels like forever trying to find a new TV to replace my old one, I’m pumped to say this bad boy actually works and has picture quality that’s out of this world. Seriously, this is the fifth TV I’ve tried, and it’s totally worth every single cent. The visuals are so crisp and vibrant, it’s like you’re right there in the scene! If you’re thinking about getting this TV, just go for it! It’s hands down the best TV I’ve ever laid eyes on. You won’t regret it!

Just picked up the SAMSUNG QN85B TV, and honestly, I didn’t stress too much about the hunt this time. I knew I wanted something solid, but not the cheapest option or the super pricey one either.

So far, just a few months in, and I’m loving it! The picture looks amazing, and it's got enough HDMI ports for all my gadgets. Sure, the blacks could be a little deeper, but I wasn’t ready to drop an extra two grand for that. I just crank up the brightness when I need to.

Oh, and the remote? Total bummer. It’s tiny and kinda awkward to use. Just wanted to throw that out there. But overall, I’m really happy with my choice!
