System Experience

Receiving this projector was a mixed bag for me. Initially, I was thrilled to get my hands on it, especially since I backed it through a crowdfunding campaign. However, the delivery process left something to be desired. I had expected a smooth arrival, but instead, it felt like a game of hide-and-seek since it was dropped off at a location rather than being delivered right to my door. Once I had it set up, I appreciated the compact design, which made it easy to transport for my travels, but I also encountered some hiccups with the setup that made me wish for a more straightforward experience.

Viewing Experience

When it comes to picture quality, my feelings are quite mixed. While I love the idea of projecting movies and videos at such a large size, I can't help but notice that the colors seem a bit off—there’s a persistent yellowish and greenish tint that detracts from my viewing experience. It’s disappointing since I had higher expectations for a 1080p projector. I can see the pixels a little too clearly, which makes me wonder if it’s really delivering the resolution it promised. I find myself wishing there were more options to tweak the RGB settings, as the current adjustments feel quite limited.

Other Experience

I’ve enjoyed using this projector for various streaming services like Netflix and YouTube, and it’s become a staple for my camping trips, where I can easily project onto a white wall or even a blanket. The ability to cast from my phone without needing a Wi-Fi connection is a fantastic feature, and it really enhances my overall experience. That said, I do wish the internal speakers were stronger—while they’re functional, I often rely on my external Bluetooth speaker to get the sound quality I crave. Still, I appreciate that the projector pairs seamlessly with my sound systems, whether I’m indoors or outdoors.

Conclusion

Pros:
There are definitely some strong points to this projector. I love its sleek design and lightweight form factor, which makes it incredibly portable for my travel needs. The range of ports and input options is impressive, allowing me to connect various devices easily. Plus, I have to commend the autofocus feature, which works well and saves me the hassle of manual adjustments. I also appreciate the power adapter that comes with international plugs, making it even more travel-friendly.

Cons:
On the downside, the picture quality leaves a lot to be desired. The color issues and pixelation are frustrating, and I find myself yearning for a more vibrant and natural display. The sound control is also a letdown—at full volume, the internal speakers are still too quiet for my liking. Additionally, I’ve found the operating system to be a bit clunky, with challenges in installing apps. While I wanted to utilize its built-in features, I often find myself resorting to using my Fire TV to get the best experience.

Overall Evaluation:
Overall, I’m glad I made the investment in this projector, especially for my travel lifestyle. Despite its shortcomings, it has become my portable entertainment solution, and I appreciate the versatility it offers. However, I can’t ignore the frustrations I’ve encountered, particularly with picture quality and sound. It’s a solid option if you’re looking for something lightweight and easy to set up, but I can’t help but feel there’s room for improvement. If the company can address these issues, I believe it could become a truly standout product.

This projector is a champ, whether you’re chilling inside or having fun outside! It’s super flexible with all sorts of inputs and a breeze to set up. I hooked up my Firestick 4K via HDMI, and I love that I can power it straight from the projector’s USB – makes it all nice and tidy. The built-in speakers are just okay, but I just Bluetooth it to my stereo when I’m inside or my Megaboom when I’m outside, and it sounds awesome!

Honestly, I can't really speak to its value since I got mine through an original internal campaign, so I don’t have anything else to compare it to. But hey, I’m really stoked about my projector!

I grabbed this projector to level up my gaming experience, and let me tell you, it’s a game changer! I’ve played on both my Xbox and my phone using HDMI and USB-C, and the visuals are just stunning. Sure, it’s a bit on the pricey side, but honestly, for that massive 120” screen and crystal-clear 1080p resolution, it’s totally worth it. The only bummer is the built-in speakers aren’t that great. Good thing I usually rock a headset while gaming anyway!
