The time has come for PC gamers fond of Japanese games to begin their most intense prayer. A few days before the PC Gaming Show, Atlus confirms that they have "exciting announcements" to make during the event scheduled for Saturday June 13 at 9 pm.

Update | The secret no longer holds. Even if nothing says that it will be the only game announced, the sources agree that Persona 4 Golden from PlayStation Vita by landing on Steam as of Saturday in the wake of its announcement. Persona 3 would also be on its way to the PC, but with less certainty when it comes to the latter.

Persona 4 Golden released from PlayStation Vita?

The presence of Atlus among the thirty studios and publishers revealed by PC Gamer is particularly significant as it is one of the last Japanese labels to refuse to venture on PC. Even a platform brimming with Japanese games like Steam currently lists only one game stamped Atlus in its database, namely Catherine Classic released on January 10, 2019.

But the time for lean cows should not last, Atlus having even launched its own editor page in order to group its future PC games on the Valve platform. If the Persona franchise is undoubtedly the first name that will come to the minds of players, 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim can also act as a candidate for a PC port, especially since Atlus does not currently mention any specific platform as regards concerns the western release of the latest Vanillaware game.
