The NexiGo PJ40s portability is acceptable. Its relatively lightweight but is bigger than other comparable products, like theEpson EpiqVision Mini EF12orWiMiUS P63. You also need to plug it in since it lacks an internal battery. It has auto keystone adjustment but only on the vertical axis, so you must manually adjust the screen geometry when moving the projector left or right. It doesnt have optical autofocus, but you can adjust the screen size digitally in the projectors settings. It also has an adjustable central front foot that you can use to help raise or lower the projector. Finally, it has an integrated 20W speaker system. The NexiGo PJ40 Gen 3 has a native 1080p resolution but can accept signals of up to 4k resolution. It uses an LCD panel with an LED backlight, so you'll likely never need to replace it.

Viewing Experience | The NexiGo PJ40 projector offers decent performance for its price, particularly excelling in contrast, which enhances dark scene viewing. However, it struggles with brightness levels, making it less suitable for environments with ambient light, and is best utilized in dark rooms. The image uniformity is lacking, with noticeable dimming in the corners compared to the center. Additionally, the projector's color gamut falls short, failing to accurately represent the full range of colors, particularly in SDR content, resulting in incorrect displays of certain hues. Overall, while the PJ40 has strengths in contrast, its limitations in brightness, uniformity, and color accuracy hinder its overall impression. |

System Experience | The NexiGo PJ40 is a projector that comes with built-in Android TV, allowing for some level of smart functionality. It supports casting through Miracast and AirPlay, which adds convenience for users who want to display content from their devices. The integrated 20W speaker system provides decent sound quality for a more immersive viewing experience. However, the Android TV interface is quite basic and lacks pre-installed streaming apps, which may limit its usability without the addition of a separate streaming dongle. The inclusion of Bluetooth 5.1 offers enhanced connectivity options, making it easier to connect to various devices. Overall, while the NexiGo PJ40 has some appealing features, its performance may be hindered by the barebones Android TV implementation. |

Overall Impression
This projector offers impressive performance and versatility at a budget-friendly price, making it a great choice for both home entertainment and business presentations. While it may not replace a high-end 4K UHD TV for detail-oriented viewers, its bright image quality, solid connectivity, and overall functionality will satisfy the vast majority of users. A few minor drawbacks like limited sunlight performance and some connectivity quirks are easily manageable, especially when considering the value it provides. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enhance their viewing experience.
