Into The Night (2020) is Netflix's first Belgian original series. In fact, as it expanded into the global market, it produced a number of good-quality shows aimed at local audiences. At first glance, Into The Night (2020) seems to be an ordinary air crash drama, which is actually set up to be chased by the sun in the end of the world. The concept is not fresh, but Into The Night is still worth watching and entertaining.

Into The Night (2020) almost integrates disaster, suspense, thriller, escape and other types of elements. But the strength of the concept of light science fiction means that the show doesn't need to burn a lot of money for big scenes (which is certainly possible because some parts of the novel have to be cut), which is probably the main reason why Netflix is willing to invest, making the most of its limited costs.

The biggest attraction of Into The Night (2020) is still the conflict and game between different characters in a confined space, which is probably another way to open up a series like Lost. The flashbacks at the beginning of each episode are also interesting. The most memorable character is probably the Turkish gangster bro.

Looking forward to the second season.
