Minecraft Dungeons: crossplay and xCloud support planned after launch

Crossplay has become an important feature in multiplayer and cooperative games. If Minecraft offers it, you will have to wait for Minecraft Dungeons . The developers answered our question about crossplay, as well as xCloud during a private presentation of the game.

The game will not be crossplay between Xbox One and Windows 10 at launch. The game will also be available on Nintendo Switch and PS4. For this to work, we need cloud backup that works across all platforms and at launch we don't have crossplay. But this is something we will add after launch.

xCloud is a really cool technology. We don't want to go into details on how we are going to support it, but we look forward to having the opportunity to do so. It is a wonderful technology that will help many players discover Xbox games on their mobile or streaming on their PC.

The xCloud project is officially slated for later this year and will bring Xbox Game Pass content and your game library to your mobile, PC and tablet.
