First Impressions

The LG QNED90T has a very similar design to theLG QNED90. It has thin bezels on three sides, which are barely noticeable when watching TV, and a thicker bottom bezel. Its not quite as nice looking as LGs OLED TVs, but it still looks premium overall.
The back of the TV is mostly made of metal. Most of the inputs are on the far left side of the TV when facing the front, so they're accessible if you have the TV wall-mounted. There are plastic clips on each side of the back, and the feet each have a slot that can be used to help withcable management. Unfortunately, the top of the back of our unit is warped near the VESA mounting points.
The LG QNED90T is well-built overall. It's mostly made of metal materials that feel solid, and the two feet hold the TV well with minimal wobble when pushed on. Unfortunately, the back of our unit is warped near the top VESA mounting points.

Overall Impression: The LG QNED90T TV offers a user-friendly experience with its fast and customizable webOS interface, featuring user profiles for tailored home pages. While it boasts a robust selection of apps and casting capabilities, it does suffer from a noticeable bug related to the Game Optimizer setting that may hinder access to certain picture modes. Additionally, while options to declutter the home screen from ads are available, the presence of ads on the apps page remains a drawback. Overall, the TV provides solid performance with some minor usability issues.

Viewing Experience
The LG QNED90T delivers impressive contrast with deep blacks, particularly when local dimming is enabled, although its blooming performance is only acceptable, with visible blooming around bright highlights. The TV performs well in HDR with a strong color gamut, but vibrant colors can appear undersaturated. Overall, its gray uniformity is satisfactory but marred by a dirty screen effect in the center and vignetting at the corners. Black uniformity is outstanding with local dimming, although disabled, blacks can appear cloudy. The viewing angle is limited, making it less ideal for wide seating arrangements, and while reflection handling is good, direct reflections can be distracting. Additionally, the use of a BGR subpixel layout may affect text clarity for PC use, but does not hinder video or gaming performance. Overall, the LG QNED90T is a strong performer in contrast and HDR color, with some limitations in blooming and viewing angles.

Audio Experience
The TV offers a decent audio experience with clear dialogue and some bass presence, making it suitable for general viewing. However, it struggles with sound balance at higher volume levels, leading to a less satisfactory performance when pushed to maximum. The distortion levels are manageable at moderate volumes, but they become more pronounced as the volume increases, which may detract from the overall listening experience.

Motion Smoothing
The LG QNED90T offers a solid performance with good detail preservation in low-quality content, though it struggles with noticeable artifacts in dark scenes. Its impressive response time is somewhat undermined by blurring during fast motion and black smearing during dark transitions. The use of pulse width modulation for backlight dimming introduces flicker, which may affect sensitive viewers, particularly in specific picture modes. While it features motion interpolation to enhance clarity, the effectiveness diminishes with fast-moving content, leading to distracting artifacts. Overall, the TV delivers a mix of strengths and weaknesses, particularly in motion handling and dark scene performance.
