LG QNED75 TV:

The LG TV boasts an impressive design that fits seamlessly into any modern living room. Its sleek and stylish profile, combined with a high-quality finish, gives it a premium look. The 43" model I purchased is perfect for my space, with crisp lines and vibrant colors that enhance its overall aesthetic appeal. However, some users have noted issues with backlight bleed, which can detract from the viewing experience in darker scenes.

System Experience

LG Class UT75 TV:

Setting up the LG TV was a straightforward process, with clear instructions provided for connecting to various services, including Alexa. However, some users experienced issues with missing components, such as the advertised Magic Remote, leading to disappointment and frustrations regarding customer service. While the initial setup is user-friendly, the requirement to create an LG account for advertisement tracking and data collection might be seen as intrusive by some consumers.

LG QNED75 TV:

Setting up the TV was a breeze, as the auto-setup feature allowed my apps to be configured easily without the hassle of manual password entries. The integration with my iPad and phone made the process smooth and user-friendly. Although the configuration settings can feel burdensome with multiple click-through pages, once familiarized, navigating them becomes manageable. The fast shipping and delivery also added to the positive initial experience.

Viewing Experience

LG Class UT75 TV:

The viewing experience on this LG TV is nothing short of breathtaking. The picture quality is described as prestigious and beautifully clear, offering a captivating experience that can transport viewers into the content they are watching. The TV provides an engaging experience that impresses both the owner and their guests, making it an ideal choice for family movie nights or entertaining visitors.

LG QNED75 TV:

The picture quality is where this TV truly shines; it delivers bright colors and sharp images right out of the box. The factory default settings provide impressive visuals, making older movies and upscaled content look fantastic. However, some users pointed out that while the basic picture technology is comparable to other brands, it lacks the deep blacks of OLED displays, which can affect the experience during darker scenes.

Audio Experience

LG Class UT75 TV:

While the content provided does not explicitly discuss sound quality, the overall enjoyment of the viewing experience suggests that the TV offers adequate audio performance to complement its impressive visuals. Given the focus on picture quality, it can be inferred that users may find the sound satisfactory for regular use, although dedicated sound systems may still be preferred by audiophiles.

LG QNED75 TV:

While the internal sound quality is decent, many users recommend pairing the TV with a soundbar for a more immersive audio experience. The built-in speakers are adequate, but they don't deliver powerful sound, especially for cinematic viewing. Users have found that external speakers or sound systems, like Sonos, enhance the overall experience significantly.

Motion & Gaming

LG Class UT75 TV:

The content does not explicitly mention gaming performance, but the TV's high-quality visuals and responsive setup suggest it would be suitable for gaming enthusiasts looking for a visually immersive experience. Given the positive remarks on picture clarity, one can expect that the TV would enhance the gaming experience significantly.

LG QNED75 TV:

The TV performs adequately for gaming, but latency issues have been reported. Some users experienced slow response times when navigating or loading apps, which can be frustrating during gaming sessions. The lack of dedicated pause/play buttons on the remote also detracts from the gaming experience, as alternative methods to control playback are not as efficient.

Compatibility

LG Class UT75 TV:

The built-in Alexa feature allows for voice commands to search for movies, open apps, and play music, adding convenience to the user experience. However, the absence of the Magic Remote limits the effectiveness of these features, and the forced advertisement tracking and approved app restrictions may deter some users from fully embracing the TV’s capabilities.

LG QNED75 TV:

The LG remote has garnered mixed reviews; while some appreciate its unique cursor-style navigation, others find it overly sensitive and not intuitive. The smart TV features are praised for their ease of use, but some users feel the interface is chaotic and difficult to navigate. The inclusion of voice control is a positive aspect, although many have expressed a desire for a more straightforward remote design.

Conclusion

LG Class UT75 TV:

Pros:
• Stunning design that enhances room aesthetics
• Exceptional picture quality
• User-friendly setup process
• Built-in Alexa for convenient voice commands

Cons:
• Missing Magic Remote leads to functionality issues

• Inability to disable unwanted screen savers

Overall Impression:
Overall, the LG TV is highly regarded as a fantastic product that lives up to expectations in terms of visual quality and aesthetic appeal. While there are some concerns regarding missing components and intrusive tracking practices, the stunning picture clarity and ease of use make it a worthwhile investment. Despite recent unfortunate incidents, the owner remains appreciative of the experience that LG provides and is eager to continue enjoying their products in the future.

I did my homework on TVs and ended up picking the LG QNED75 over a cheaper Sony. Pro tip: turn off motion smoothing for an awesome picture! I hooked it up to a sound bar since the TV speakers are just okay. For the price, the 4K quality is fantastic! I've been loving it with DVDs, Blu-rays, and 4K discs.
