I'm considering purchasing the iGRR Mini Projector for my kids and for some outdoor movie nights. The compact size and lightweight design are definitely appealing, especially for someone living in a small space. I’m curious about the picture quality—does anyone have experience with the clarity and brightness in both indoor and outdoor settings?

Also, how does the sound quality hold up? I'm a bit concerned that a mini projector might compromise in that area. The versatility with connections like HDMI and USB is a plus, but I wonder if anyone has faced difficulties with the wireless screen synchronization feature.

Lastly, are there any potential downsides I should be aware of before making this purchase? Any insights would be greatly appreciated!

So, my old Optoma projector finally kicked the bucket after over 11 years of loyal service. It was a solid piece of tech! I was on the hunt for a UST (Ultra Short Throw) projector since I wanted to hook up a wired Atmos speaker for that crisp audio—no more sacrificing sound quality over Bluetooth! The Optoma Cinemax caught my eye; it checked all my boxes—UST, solid-state laser, HDR10, 3D support, a built-in soundbar, and eARC support. Plus, it’s super bright! The only downside? The front legs are fixed and can’t be taken off, which is a bit annoying. But hey, you can’t have it all, right?

Honestly, this projector is pretty solid for the most part. But if you're thinking of using it for anything more than just casual gaming, you might wanna think twice.

I ran into some annoying issues with audio sync, especially with stuff connected via HDMI. My Chromecast with Google TV just wouldn’t stay in sync no matter what I did. I even tried updating the firmware and tweaking the delay settings, but it was still a mess.

In the end, it was the sync problem that made me send it back. Maybe they’ll sort it out down the line, but I’m not about to sit around and wait for that.

Awesome picture and sound! But here’s the kicker: it’s not the best for gaming because there’s a bit of lag. Plus, the remote won’t charge, and there are no buttons on the projector itself. So, if the remote's dead, you’re kinda out of luck!
