Red Dead Redemption 2 protagonist Arthur's ending will have four different endings according to the honor value and the final choice. The following introduces you to the four endings and fulfillment conditions of Arthur. Each ending is tormenting. I hope you will do more good deeds in the game and give Arthur a better ending.
About Honor Value
Press the "cross key" to view the information in the game, the honor bar will be displayed at the bottom.
If the cowboy avatar on the honor value bar is to the left, it means that the honor value is low (you are a bad person), and you will dream of a wolf when you are sleeping, dreaming and ending.
If the cowboy avatar on the honor value bar is to the right, it means that the honor value is high (you are a good person), and you will dream of deer when you are sleeping, dreaming and ending.
Many missions and random events in the game are related to the honor value. Making good choices such as saving people, helping others, and not giving back will increase the honor value. While making evil choices such as indiscriminate killing of innocent people will reduce the honor value. In addition, important tasks such as Letter from Mary, Mrs. Downs, and the Road to True Love will increase the honor.
Elements that affect Arthur’s ending (note that it’s Arthur’s ending, not the end of the entire game)
1. The level of honor
2. The last choice when leave John. But no matter how you choose, Arthur will eventually die.
Good ending 1 (perfect ending)
Reached the condition: the honor value is high, and finally choose "help John reach a safe place" when separated from John.
After escorting John to a safe place, Arthur left behind to catch the soldiers.
After the duel with Micah, Dutch and Micah left, leaving Arthur alone to watch the sunrise.
Good ending 2
Reached the condition: the honor value is high, and finally choose "Go back to get money" when separated from John.
After Arthur returned to the cave and got the money (the box was at the left rear of the cave, hidden under the carriage), he was intercepted by Micah as soon as he left the cave.
After a duel with Micah, Dutch and Micah left, leaving Arthur alone to watch the sunrise. (Same as the perfect ending is to watch the sunrise, but the location of the sunrise, that is, the location of Arthur’s death is different)
In other words, when you go back to get the money, you will find that Dutch has hidden more than 40,000 US dollars there. However, he always told everyone to do it one last time.
Bad ending 1
Reached the condition: the honor value is low, and finally choose "help John reach a safe place" when separated from John.
After escorting John to a safe place, Arthur left behind to catch the soldiers.
After a duel with Maika, Dutch left first, and Micah shot a shot at Arthur's head.
Bad ending 2
Reached the condition: the honor value is low, and finally chose "Go back to get money" when separated from John.
After Arthur returned to the cave and got the money (the box was at the left rear of the cave, hidden under the carriage), he was intercepted by Micah as soon as he left the cave.
After the duel with Micah, Ducky walked away first, and Micah drove the knife into Arthur's back.
As long as the honor value is low, no matter how you choose, you will be killed by Micah, which is too suffocating, so I suggest that you must be a good person.
