On December 28th, the Beijing Zhibee Hall・Bee Expo Park, spanning over 60,000 square meters in Nanshao Town, Changping District, Beijing, officially opened its doors. This comprehensive cultural venue integrates science education, culture, and leisure, offering visitors not only a wealth of knowledge about bees but also an immersive experience through the use of 64 Epson 3LCD engineering projectors, ranging from 6,000 to 20,000 lumens. These projectors, including the Epson CB-PU22 & 21 series, CB-PU10 & 20 series, and CB-L630SU series, employ cutting-edge light and shadow technology to transport visitors into the vital role bees play in nature, creating a mesmerizing journey through the wonders of the natural world.

Epson, a company dedicated to creating value through technological innovation, has empowered the museum with its advanced technology. From the initial stages of project planning, Epson worked closely with the client, deeply understanding their needs and vision. With unwavering commitment and professionalism, Epson provided technical support and optimized solutions, ensuring the project's success every step of the way.

The Hive Pavilion
As the iconic centerpiece of the Bee Expo Park, the Hive Pavilion seamlessly blends light and shadow technology with ecological science, offering a comprehensive exploration of the fascinating world of bees.

This spectacular six-level space, inspired by the structure of a beehive, features uniquely designed floors that immerse visitors in an unforgettable experience. [The top level of the Hive Pavilion] is particularly striking, with its giant dome-shaped screen powered by the CB-PU2220B projector paired with the ELPLU04 lens. This setup vividly recreates the grand scenes of bee evolution and ecological transformation, making visitors feel as though they are part of nature's majestic tapestry and the intricate web of life.

[From the top level to the ground floor across six levels], visitors will delve into the delicate relationship between bees and plants, exploring their mutual adaptation and co-evolution. They will witness the ingenious strategies bees use to overcome challenges, such as defeating hornets, the wisdom behind food distribution, the selection of optimal breeding, and the highly organized, collaborative reproductive patterns within the colony.

The exhibition areas utilize Epson 3LCD engineering projectors to bring scientific knowledge to life: the ground mapping sections feature the CB-PU2010W and CB-L630SU series projectors paired with the ELPLU03S lens, while the wall mapping sections employ the CB-PU22 & 21 series projectors with the ultra-short-throw ELPLX02S lens, achieving a perfect fusion of educational content and stunning visuals.

The Bee Production Hall, powered by the CB-L630SU and CB-PU10 & 20 series, offers a visual feast centered around bees.
Through multiple themed zones—such as the Pollen Zone, Honey Zone, Beeswax Zone, and Propolis Zone—the hall vividly recreates the living environment and habits of bees. It also provides a detailed showcase of the entire process, from pollen collection to honey production. Enhanced by advanced light and shadow technology, the exhibits come alive, allowing visitors to step into the world of bees and experience the marvels of nature and the ingenuity of these tiny creatures.

In the [Pollen Zone], the journey of pollen is vividly depicted, from its miraculous birth within flowers to its diverse microscopic forms and the intricate art of pollination by bees. As the "source of life" for the colony and a "micro-nutrient bank" of nature, the story of pollen's role in storing and nurturing life is beautifully narrated, complemented by stunning visuals that transport visitors into a fantastical world of pollen, leaving them captivated.

CB-L630SU Series
The [Honey Zone] resonates with the dual symphony of sweetness and hard work. A mere 20 grams of honey represents the laborious journey of bees collecting nectar from 3,000 flowers and flying thousands of miles. This zone not only showcases the magical process of honey production but also highlights honey's exceptional benefits as a crystallization of the essence of plants and animals.

The [Propolis Zone] stands as an ancient treasure trove of wisdom, quietly narrating the remarkable invention of bees from millennia ago. Long before the dawn of human civilization, bees had already developed "natural antibiotics"—propolis. This revelation leaves visitors in awe of the foresight and exquisite craftsmanship of these tiny creatures.
