Although the smooth motion is helpful for some fast-moving sports content, it can make movies and some TV shows look fake. However, not everyone agrees with me, so if you like smooth action movies, you can turn on motion compensation.
For the HDR movie mode, according to the length of time to test the peak brightness, 930 to 950 nits were obtained. For the TV display, the brightness has reached a high level at the same price.
Backlight Performance
The backlight performance of Hisense U7G is relatively good. In a dark background, there is no halo effect around bright objects.
When I watch a program with closed captioning turned on, I can quickly learn all the information about the TV's backlight control and black level performance.
The great thing about this Netflix nature documentary is that it was shot almost exclusively at night-hence the name. They use special cameras and technology to capture night images-an unprecedented natural action. On average, the show is very dark, which constitutes a hell-like torture test. Let me tell you that U7G passed the test easily.
I hardly observed overflow on the edge of the TV or halo around bright objects. The best test is around closed captions, which are bright white on an almost dark background.
