First Impressions
The Hisense 65QD7N features a similar design to many other budget Hisense models, with a metal back enclosure, plastic housing for the inputs, and a set of plastic feet. Its simple, but its a functional design that looks good enough.The top section of the TV is metallic, and the section that houses the inputs is made of plastic. Most of the inputs are side-facing, but theyre located towards the middle of the TV, making them hard to reach when the TV is wall-mounted. The Ethernet, digital audio out, and the USB port that are located on the back are inaccessible if you have it mounted flush to the wall. Unfortunately, the TV doesnt come with any clips to help withcable management.
The TVs build quality is alright. It wobbles a bit on its feet when pushed on, and theres some minor flexing on the back, but this is to be expected and doesn't cause issues. Unfortunately, our unit has abulgethat slightly separates the glass from the LCD.
