Percy Jackson & the Olympians, a series of teenage novels written by Rick Riordan, had two live-action versions -- the Lightning Thief and the sequel Sea of Monsters -- in 2010 and 2013, but plans for a third episode fell through due to poor reviews and box office performance.
Fans of the novel were pleasantly surprised when Rick Riordan, the creator of the original series, announced last week on social media that "Percy Jackson & the Olympians" is launching a live-action series on the Disney + platform.
The 2010 film version of "Percy Jackson & the Olympians," starring Logan Lerman, also stars Alexandra Daddario and Brandon t. Jackson. Logan Lerman himself said he was looking forward to the announcement. I only hope the album will satisfy fans of the novel.
