Beijing (April 15, 2025): Christie® proudly introduces its next-generation 3LCD laser projector series, designed specifically for the Chinese market. The new APS and DPS series are built for education, business, and small public venues, offering brightness ranging from 5,500 to 14,500 lumens, WUXGA resolution, and an impressive 5,000,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio for stunning, lifelike visuals.
The Christie APS series combines the affordability of 3LCD technology with the high performance and long lifespan of laser light sources. The lineup includes fixed-lens models—LWU600-APS, LWU700-APS, LWU800-APS—and short-throw models—LWU600ST-APS and LWU700ST-APS—perfect for classrooms, meeting rooms, and compact spaces. All models deliver up to 20,000 hours of maintenance-free operation, significantly reducing total cost of ownership.

“This launch reflects Christie’s commitment to delivering diverse, application-driven solutions for China’s evolving needs,” said Wang Zhonglong, Senior Product Manager at Christie. “Beyond exceptional image quality, these projectors feature flexible I/O configurations, built-in 16W speakers, 360° installation flexibility, compact designs, and quiet operation—making them ideal for small spaces.”
DPS Series: Bright, Flexible, and Reliable Performance
The Christie DPS series also debuts two new interchangeable-lens models for mid-to-high-brightness applications, balancing features and value. The LWU1160-DPS (12,100 lumens) and LWU1460-DPS (14,500 lumens) boast WUXGA resolution, 5,000,000:1 dynamic contrast, seven lens options, and vibrant brightness—perfect for budget-conscious users who demand visual impact.
Designed for boardrooms, classrooms, museums, event staging, and houses of worship, these models feature reliable laser engines with sealed optics for durability. Their lightweight, low-noise designs integrate seamlessly into any space, while professional tools like geometric correction, contrast optimization, and eco modes cater to commercial, education, and cultural sectors.
