At the beginning of the event, Luo Tao, Product Manager of the Audio-Visual Products Marketing Department at Sony (China) Electronics Systems Division, introduced Sony's corporate vision and the "Bring the Cinema Home" market strategy. He revealed the strong technological foundation and rich product lineup behind Sony's strategy, which garnered high recognition from the audience.

"Sony has unified its home theater projectors, TVs, soundbars, and other home audio products under the 'BRAVIA' brand," Luo Tao explained. "This aims to provide users with a one-stop service, allowing them to enjoy the vibrant, meticulously crafted visuals by filmmakers and the resonant sound effects that evoke deep emotions."

Meanwhile, Zhang Qingyuan, Product Trainer from Sony's Direct Store and Product Solutions Department, provided a detailed technical analysis of the star of the event—the Sony Home Projector P9. This allowed attendees to appreciate the advanced and powerful features of the product.

"The Sony Home Projector P9 is a flagship product that integrates Sony's cutting-edge technologies and robust functionalities. Since its release, it has garnered widespread attention in the industry and has become the ideal choice and quality assurance for high-end home theaters," Zhang Qingyuan introduced.

Li Weisheng, Editor-in-Chief of *Home Theater Technology* magazine, had previously conducted a detailed review of the Sony Home Projector P9. Therefore, he was responsible for presenting the review data and explaining the demonstration segment. He highlighted two major improvements in the Sony Home Projector P9:

"First, it features Sony's dedicated XR image processor for projectors, enhancing HDR auto-mapping, which is a key concern for movie enthusiasts and gamers. Second, it has upgraded to an HDMI 2.1 interface, enabling gamers to experience 4K/120fps high-frame-rate gaming. This significantly improves the 'responsiveness' and 'smoothness' during gameplay. Additionally, the higher brightness makes it more capable when projecting on 180-inch or even 200-inch large screens."

During the demonstration, the Sony Home Projector P9's outstanding performance earned continuous praise: the delicate visuals, vibrant colors, smooth motion, and the coexistence of deep blacks and rich details in contrast performance were all remarkable. This once again confirmed the powerful capabilities of the Sony Home Projector P9.

Li Qiangde, Sales Manager of Donghe Shengtai, a local integrator in Chengdu, commented:

"Only by familiarizing ourselves with the product and experiencing its advantages firsthand can we confidently recommend it to users. Sony has provided such an experience, which greatly benefits our sales practices and better serves end-users."

From Guangzhou, Shanghai, Beijing, Wuhan, to Chengdu, the successful series of Sony Home Projector P9 (VPL-XW8100) experience events have not only timely introduced this product infused with Sony's cutting-edge technology to integrators and end-users but have also injected new competition into the high-end home projector market in 2025. With its excellent performance and advanced technology, it is expected to benefit more home theater users and further strengthen their confidence in Sony's home theater projectors.

As the flagship model of Sony's native 4K laser home theater projectors, the Sony Home Projector P9 is the latest addition to the BRAVIA family of home theater products, following the release of the Sony TV 9 Series, 8 Series, 7 Series, and other home theater products. It fully considers user needs, skillfully integrating Sony's strong technological capabilities and outstanding performance design: the XR image processor for projectors, 3,400 lumens of brightness, 4K/120fps, ALLM (Auto Low Latency Mode), vivid color enhancer, compact body, and excellent device compatibility. This product is a result of Sony's deep understanding of user needs and meticulous crafting, offering more choices for users based on previous models like the VPL-XW7000 and VPL-XW5000.
