Bose S1 Pro is almost a perfect bluetooth speaker for home audio

When talking about bluetooth speakers, the first product that comes to my mind is the Bose SoundLink Mini, a small case only 7 inches long with two high-power full-frequency units and two passive bass units, which ensures sound quality and relatively high output volume. It is definitely a classic product.

The bluetooth speaker I'd like to introduce is the Bose S1 Pro multifunctional music system. It is officially called the music system because the Bose S1 Pro is an integrated three-channel mixer, equalize, reverb, ToneMatch® processing technology, bluetooth wireless transmission and other functions. It is a complete music system, suitable for musicians, DJS and others to use as musical instrument speakers, return speakers or expansion boxes. While BOSE's official positioning of the S1 Pro is geared toward professional sound amplification, the addition of bluetooth and a built-in lithium battery makes it equally suitable for the average consumer, whether it's playing music for outdoor activities or improvising karaoke.

The name of the Bose S1 Pro multifunctional music system suggests that it's a large, professional sound expansion box, but it's actually quite small. The Bose S1 Pro is 9.5 x 11 x 13 inches and weighs only 15 pounds. The Bose S1 Pro is so easy to carry that Bose has even designed a special backpack for it.

The shape of S1 Pro is square and inclined to professional sound reinforcement style. The main material of the shell is polypropylene plastic. The front is covered by a black metal mesh cover, with the classic BOSE rotatable LOGO in the middle, and a blue indicator light hidden in the lower right corner.

The positioning of BOSE S1 Pro is in the field of professional sound amplification, and its technical index is much higher than that of ordinary household bluetooth speakers. Its loudest pressure level is up to 103 dB(peak 109dB), and its frequency response range is relatively wide, reaching 62hz-17khz (±3dB), which is regarded as the steel cannon in the bluetooth speakers. S1 Pro to achieve high volume output and longer battery life, under normal circumstances can play music for 11 consecutive hours, if you use in the process of the battery can be used while charging power supply is connected, 5 hours can keep the charge, if let stand open quick charging mode only three hours to put the charge.

If there are any drawbacks to the Bose S1 Pro, all I can think of is that its reverb function is too simple, and users have no other options to adjust other than reverb ratio, which is not enough for the more demanding musicians. In addition, the bluetooth connection of S1 Pro does not support apt-x, LDAC and other high-quality coding technologies, and the sound quality when playing music is not as good as the wired connection. However, considering its use, this loss of sound quality does not matter much.
