Back to the Future Part II tells a story about Marty and doctor take the time car from 1985 to 2015 in the future world. When they return to 1985, they find that the situation has changed completely. Biff Tannen has become rich and powerful, Marty's mother has become Biff Tannen's wife, and doc is locked in a mental hospital. In order to save this sad phenomenon, Marty and doc must go back to 1955 to change history.

Back to the Future Part II not only expands the world view. It also constructs the dramatic conflict and plot strictly based on the setting, and the whole story revolves around the setting of time travel.
