Assassin's Creed Valhalla game director Ashraf Ismail recently spoke to Press Start. In an interview, the publication asked: "many players feel that Assassin's Creed Odyssey is forcing them to grind, because it's the only way to accomplish certain missions and kill certain enemies. Will Valhalla balance that?"
Ashraf Ismail replied that the team's goal was to get players to play what they wanted. Players can travel back and forth between England and Norway and enjoy what they want to play.
"We've created this breathtakingly beautiful living world, and we want players to play what they want to play. We are also balancing the game in this way. Want to focus on the story? No problem. Want to concentrate on settlements? No problem. Players can decide how they want to experience the game. Our goal has always been to showcase ivor's personal experience, and we are very focused on that. So I have to say it again. If the players want to focus on the personal experience and the relationships that developed from that, they can focus on that." Ashraf Ismail said in an interview.
