At each change of day, the game will review all of your flowers that have been watered. Around each of them, he will look in a 3x3 square (in which the checked flower would be in the center) if another plant of the same species has been planted and watered.
If this is the case, you will have a chance to grow a flower in an empty box around it. It will be of the same species and its color may either be the same as one of the two chosen or a combination of these.

The game will validate the conditions for awarding proliferation / crossing . Among the remaining boxes available around your red tulip, you will have a percentage chance of showing a tulip shoot (image on the right). This tulip may be white, red or a combination of the two colors, for example: pink. In the latter case, you will have successfully created a hybrid flower!
IMPROVED CHANCES OF PROLIFERATION
By following the instructions in the previous paragraph to the letter, you will have a 5% chance of making a new flower appear the next morning. There is, however, a trick that allows you to boost these chances by up to 80% .
Indeed, if friends visiting your island water your flowers, for each additional person , the chances of producing a new flower the next day will be improved as follows:
When your plants have been watered by at least five different people , the stars that shine on them will change colors and shapes . This will ensure that you have reached the maximum chances of proliferation.
By following this tip, we had the pleasure of discovering the next day 23 new shoots in our field prepared for the occasion.
Note that if you change the time on your console to go back (even without changing the day), this will cancel the watering your flowers will have received during the day. Also, this method will not boost your chances of seeing more hybrid flowers appear.
SPAWN OF RARE INSECTS
Last point, it is important to note that having flowers (especially hybrids) in number on your island will have the effect of attracting more or less rare insects on them.
