I tried out the antmap Mini Projector with my iPhone 14, and it was a hassle. Sometimes it wouldn’t connect at all, and when it did, I could only hear sound but the screen stayed blank. I wanted to go wireless, but the cable connection didn’t work either. Plus, it connects to WiFi but won’t download updates. I’m past the return window, but just a heads up: steer clear of this thing; it’s a dud!

So I got the AKIYO Mini Projector, but it turned out to be a dud. The company reached out and offered to either refund me or send a better one, so I went for the replacement. It was meant to be a Christmas gift, but now it's a birthday surprise instead! I haven't tried it out yet, but I’ll update later.

Now about the first one – it only works for about 5 minutes before it gets a dark spot in the middle and shuts off. Super frustrating! I’ve tried everything to fix it: cleaning, cooling it down, you name it. Nothing works! It’s a hassle to even turn on. Honestly, don’t waste your money unless you just want a projector for a quick peek.

Just got my first antmap Mini Projector and I'm loving it! Used it to project a big screen for some indoor workouts. Had a little mishap when I kicked it over while bouncing around, but it survived like a champ! No damage at all! I didn’t have a screen, but my white curtains worked just fine.
