The projector features an intuitive layout that makes it user-friendly, especially for those who might not be very tech-savvy.

AAXA P6X Projector:

The P6X Pico projector has a surprisingly compact and sleek design that belies its powerful performance. Smaller than expected, it's lightweight and portable, making it easy to carry around for various purposes, from home movie nights to outdoor screenings. Its minimalist aesthetic allows it to blend seamlessly into any environment, even serving as a decorative piece when not in use. I appreciate that it looks good while being functional, reinforcing the idea that it's both a tech gadget and an attractive accessory.

Viewing Experience

AAXA Pico+ MAX Mini Projector:

The viewing experience with the Pico Max was generally positive. I was able to project large, clear images that were bright enough for my needs, particularly while decorating cookies. The colors appeared vibrant, although I did notice that the image quality can be affected by ambient light. The sound quality was decent when using the projector’s built-in speaker, though I experienced a slight delay when connecting via Bluetooth. Overall, the clarity of the images met my expectations, especially given the projector's compact size.

AAXA P6X Projector:

The viewing experience varies significantly between day and night. In well-lit conditions, it still manages to project a clear and watchable image, especially with brighter programming like sports. However, darker content doesn't perform as well in bright settings. At night, the projector truly shines, offering bright, vivid, and crisp images that enhance the viewing experience. While the P6X doesn't claim to be a 4K projector and doesn’t provide 1080p playback for all sources, the overall picture quality is impressive for its price point, especially given its portability.

• Very bright for its class
• Decent picture quality
• Good input options
• Decent battery life

• No wireless options
• No built-in apps

AKASO WT50 Mini Projector:

The viewing experience exceeded my expectations in terms of image clarity and brightness. I was able to project images up to 15 feet diagonally without distortion, which is impressive for a projector of this size. Even in rooms with some ambient lighting, the resolution remained great. Whether for watching movies or projecting for art projects, the quality was consistently crisp and vibrant. However, I did notice that optimal performance required near-complete darkness, which is standard for projectors at this price point.

System Experience

AAXA Pico+ MAX Mini Projector:

Setting up the Pico Max was surprisingly simple. I was able to connect it to my old Fire TV stick and mirror my iPad and Android devices through HDMI without any hassle. The wireless functionality made it even more convenient, allowing me to avoid the clutter of cables when projecting from my phone. Even though I encountered some issues initially, AAXA’s responsive email support was a significant plus, demonstrating their commitment to customer satisfaction.

AAXA P6X Projector:

Setting up the P6X was a breeze. Within just 10 minutes, I was able to get it up and running, thanks to straightforward instructions and all necessary accessories included in the box. Connecting it to devices is simple, whether through HDMI or via a streaming stick, which can even be powered through the USB port. However, the lack of built-in apps and wireless features means that users need to rely on additional devices for streaming content, which can be a minor inconvenience for those looking for a more integrated experience.

AKASO WT50 Mini Projector:

Setting up the projector was a breeze, and I appreciated the fun unboxing experience. The option to connect via HDMI or USB made it easy to integrate into my existing devices, including laptops and streaming gadgets like FireStick. The installation of apps like Netflix, Hulu, and YouTube was relatively straightforward, though I did encounter some hiccups with certain applications, specifically the inability to download Disney+. The wireless setup was quick, and I found the EShare app convenient for controlling the projector from my phone, though the remote control could be a bit sluggish at times.

Conclusion

AAXA Pico+ MAX Mini Projector:

Pros:
• Compact and lightweight design, easy to transport
• Good image quality for its size, bright enough for indoor use
• Wireless connectivity eliminates the need for extra cables
• Responsive customer support from AAXA

Cons:
• Battery life is limited to about 2 hours and takes a long time to charge
• Some users experience connectivity issues with certain devices
• The included tripod is not very sturdy
• Sound quality is not ideal for movie watching

Overall Impression:
The AAXA 1080p Pico Max has proven to be a valuable tool for my cookie decorating hobby, providing a practical and efficient way to project templates onto my baked goods. While it may not replace a home projector or serve as a primary entertainment device, its portability and ease of use make it an excellent choice for on-the-go projects. Despite some drawbacks like battery life and occasional connectivity issues, I find the projector to be a worthy investment for anyone needing a portable projection solution, especially for creative tasks like decorating cookies.

AAXA P6X Projector:

Pros:
The P6X excels in brightness, making it one of the standout projectors in its category. It offers decent picture quality, good input options, and a reasonable battery life that can support multiple short viewing sessions. Its portability and lightweight design make it perfect for on-the-go use, whether for camping trips or casual movie nights with friends.

Cons:
Despite its strengths, the P6X has notable shortcomings. It lacks wireless capabilities and built-in apps, which can limit functionality for some users. The built-in speakers are only okay, and the remote control feels underwhelming compared to what's available on competing devices. Additionally, the projector struggles with compatibility for certain file formats, which can be frustrating for users expecting a more versatile device.

Overall Impression:
Overall, the P6X Pico projector is a solid choice for anyone seeking an affordable and portable solution for casual viewing. While it may not have all the bells and whistles of higher-end models or built-in smart features, it compensates with bright visuals and ease of use. For its price point, it offers excellent value, especially for those who prioritize portability and a decent viewing experience. While I encountered some limitations, particularly regarding wireless features and app support, the P6X remains a commendable option for mixed-use in various lighting conditions.

AKASO WT50 Mini Projector:

Pros:
• Excellent picture clarity and brightness
• Highly portable and lightweight
• Comes with a mini tripod
• Option of HDMI or USB connectivity
• Good customer service experience

Cons:
• Remote control needs improvement; can be slow
• Battery life is limited to about an hour
• Some apps like Disney+ are not supported
• Requires tinkering for optimal alignment

Overall Impression:
Overall, I am genuinely impressed with this mini projector. It serves its purpose exceptionally well for both entertainment and artistic applications. Despite the minor setbacks with battery life and some app limitations, the projector's portability and image quality make it a worthwhile investment. The standout customer service experience I had only enhanced my satisfaction with the product. I would wholeheartedly recommend this projector for anyone looking for a reliable and compact solution for both casual viewing and creative projects.

I tried three mini projectors before this AAXA P6X, and they all had issues like being too dim or blurry around the edges. This one outshines them all, but I still gave it 1 star off because it’s not perfect—just the best of the bunch I tested!

AAXA P6X Projector has awesome picture quality and brightness, but the battery only lasts 1.5 hours. The remote sucks—it's tiny and doesn't light up, and the tripod is garbage too. But I like it otherwise! I'm thinking of returning it and getting another one to see if the battery lasts longer.

Got the AKASO WT50 Mini Projector, and after a few hiccups setting it up with my Apple device, it’s finally working! Shoutout to their quick customer support for helping me out. Now I’m all set for movie nights and cookie decorating—no problems at all!

AKASO WT50 Mini Projector Update: The company reached out to me and fixed the issue! I only used it once before it stopped working, and the picture it shows is just like the one in my review. The seller wasn’t helpful, even with a 2-year warranty.

The AKASO WT50 Mini Projector is a game changer for my cookie biz! It's tough to find a good projector for what I do, but this one nails it. The customer service is awesome too—super helpful! If you need a projector, this is the one!
