I got the AAXA P6X Projector thinking it would be a cool upgrade from my old AAXA Pico for my gigs. But seriously, it only plays AVI? What year is it, 2005? My old projector even handled .mp4! So, I just checked out the AKASO WT50 Mini Projector, and honestly, I’m still figuring out what to rate it. Here’s the scoop: it’s a tiny powerhouse with great brightness and contrast for its size—way better than my old $100 no-name projector.

Now, the tech side: even though it’s 1080p, it looks a bit pixelated compared to my old LCD. Plus, the automatic keystone correction is fab, but it doesn’t work with HDMI, which is a bummer. And the Android system? Super dated, so lots of apps just don’t cut it. I ended up using a Chromecast, but that’s a hassle.

The remote? Ugh, it’s a pain. You have to aim it just right and push hard for it to work. I just wanted it to turn on with my smart home stuff, but nope, gotta grab the remote every time.
