I've been eyeing the JVC DLA-NX9 4K Home Theater Projector, and I'm really curious about a few things before I pull the trigger. First off, how's the picture quality? I've read about its 8K/e-shift technology, but does that really make a noticeable difference in a home setup? Is the color depth and clarity worth the investment?

I'm also concerned about sound quality. I see it doesn't appear to have built-in speakers, so how does it integrate with external audio systems? Does it handle surround sound well, especially for a cinematic experience?

On the technical side, the HDMI/HDCP 2.2 compliance is great, but are there any issues with connectivity or compatibility with other devices?

Lastly, are there any downsides I should be aware of? I’ve heard that higher-end projectors can be a mixed bag when it comes to installation and maintenance. Any thoughts would be much appreciated!

This projector is a total beast! Seriously, it makes the Epson 5050UB look like a little toy, and that thing is no small fry itself. So, if you're planning on picking this bad boy up, make sure you've got enough space in your car—not just for it, but also for your bags when your wife finds out you dropped 15 grand on a TV and decides to kick you out!
