After supporting the Apple Music application, LG announced that NVIDIA's cloud gaming platform GeForce Now will be available on some LG smart TVs this week. However, the service is currently a test version, and after a period of polishing, it will be open to more LG TVs in the future.
The GeForce Now service is already available on Windows, macOS, Chrome OS, Android, and iOS (via Safari), but this is the first partnership between NVIDIA and a TV manufacturer to develop smart TV applications.
Currently, compatible TVs include some 2021 LG 4K OLED, QNED Mini LED and NanoCell TV models in 80 markets around the world.
On compatible TVs, users can go to LG’s Content Store to download the app. The app will enable players to access more than 35 free games, just a compatible controller, and you will not need any additional hardware.
